Family Picnic

A fun time for all
was had at
the annual Family Picnic,
this time held
at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp.
Bringing back memories of
past Family events and good times
held at this very site.

Our nieces and nephews remembered
hockey games on the pond,
and delicious Turkey Dinners with
Grandma and Grandpa at
Christmas time gatherings.

We rediscovered that
roasted wieners over an open wood fire
make a delicious hot dog and that a
simplified meal was a welcome change!

The Kettle Popcorn was super yummy
and the kids loved watching
the process!

There were slides, forts, swings and
wide open fields for the youngest
generation to enjoy.

The group shot on the beach.

Till next time ............ feeling blessed to be part of such a wonderful family and especially thankful (thanks Patrick) that our Becky happened to be home to be part of this event today!

  1. What a fun place to gather with your family. I think that family parties are my favorite kind of entertainment.

  3. I love it when families can come together and hang out with no expectations. That's the best part of family...just some wieners, hotdogs, and popcorn. We do our popcorn in a similar way...it is so much fun. Just yesterday the little grands asked when we were going camping?

Hope for the Season

First Snow! November 14-16 held some "bench visits" with the Leis family, to commemorate that day/week 3 years ago! We miss him ...
