Let it Snow - Why not!
Even tho Winter is officially 17 days away we are full on over here!
Temperatures dipping well below freezing,
The highways and byways are snow packed, slippery and
unpredictable for travelling.

| Looking the other way ... this view never get's old! |
There is no denying that I don't do Winter well.
However, on the bright side of it all,
it's a time for wonderful concerts to enjoy,
heart warming soups, and favourite casseroles,
Theatre Wellesley's Fall Production of "The Curious Savage" wrapped up,
Well done all!
Porch decor done,
A young lady turned 42!
Celebration cake - a "Brookie" (brownies with cookies on top),
or perhaps all I will get done this year?
Wait - I still need to make the annual biscotti!
My special helper will be assisting me on this ...

"staying in" (in my pjs all day) is one of my favourite times of all!
Till next time ... feeling the hope of Christmas and the courage to face the Snow!
Blessings to you as you prepare.
Stay warm ...

Whoa! That is a lot of snow. We have a quarter of that. You are way ahead of me in your kitchen! Since living in Colville my driving in the snow fears have diminished. Seattle hills were not the best place for my first time ever driving in snow!! Blessings on all things Christmas to you!
ReplyDeleteLooking at the bright side is a good way to get through winter! (I confess that I must do that in the summer. I have to focus on the unique blessings of summer in order to endure the heat and humidity.) The concerts and the comfort foods are calling my name!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to the young 42-year-old! (Your daughter?) Indeed, 42 seems so young these days.
You are a wonder in the kitchen! I need to put on my apron and get to work!
